QA Analyst Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement processes for QA.
  • Participate as a team member in testing, analysis, process management to identify issues and risks.
  • Analyze the product and feature specifications and contribute to the test strategy and execution.
  • Proactive Development of Test scenarios and periodically review test cases according to requirements\
  • Build, maintain, and extend regression testing.
  • Respond to dynamic situations while maintaining adherence to best principals.
  • Ensure defects are logged correctly and tracked through closure.
  • Support continuous improvements in test coverage and test effectiveness
  • Will work closely with Production to understand the Product Architecture and work on identifying, designing or enhancing existing test frameworks to support backend automation testing.
  • Will work closely with Marketing team to understand the business goals of the project.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for quality assurance of end-user applications
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and web application is required
  • Experience with requirements analysis
  • 2+ years experience of Web application QA experience
  • 2+ years experience in black box testing and backend automation testing
  • Experience with Functional testing, Integration testing, end to end testing & load testing is a must.
  • Understanding of web technologies with experience in HTML, XML, Flash, etc.
  • Experience working in a variety of programming languages and evironments
  • Experience using a database system, preferably MySQL
  • Experience using Selenium or other automation tools
  • Knowledge in website security is a plus
  • In depth understanding of the Product Release Process and QA goals, functions and deliverables
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
