Senior Financial Analyst / Business Controller Job Description

Job Responsibilities
• The Senior Financial Analyst position offers the
opportunity to work in a diverse number of areas including
financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, major capital
expenditures, and strategic initiatives
• Provide analysis and support for monthly,
quarterly and annual forecasts and reporting, including the
understanding and challenging of underlying assumptions
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to
ensure timely and accurate analysis of existing project portfolio
and development projects; utilize existing systems to compile
consolidated forecasts (short and long range) and analyze historic
results to determine trends and business drivers
• Assist management in developing and updating the
Company Financial Model and Pricing models; Analyze financial
information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and
economic conditions for use in making investment decisions and/or
in revenue generation strategies.
• Provide leadership on all M&A activities,
including desktop due diligences, valuation modeling and, as
needed, financial due diligences. Support the Senior Management
Team in the preparation of financial proformas / valuations and
acquisition proposal presentations
• Provide assistance in the communication and
understanding of the financial models to senior members of the
organization and the Board of Directors
• Support monthly close process by understanding,
analyzing and communicating results
• Collaborate with CFO to develop reliable Cash
Forecasting models and analysis
• Prepare and Review detailed monthly Balance Sheet
analytics with CFO
• Assist with integration of acquisitions and lead
integration of management reporting and analysis
• Prepare and support all BoD, CEO, CFO in company
presentations for both internal and external audiences
• Ad-hoc requirements on strategic initiatives,
acquisitions, cash/earnings initiatives, etc
Job Requirements
• MBA graduate with prior relevant experience;
Degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or
Engineering.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles
and practices, the financial markets, e-Commerce, banking and the
analysis and reporting of financial data, valuation of
companies
• Must be able to carry out analytics and generate
insights to support or direct strategies.
• Must possess excellent presentation and
analytical skills.
• Must be detail oriented
• Should have very good computer skills (i.e.
