Job Description

Kittelson and Carpo is hiring a Software Lead who is responsible for effective management of software assets purchased and/or provided within Corporate offices and project sites globally. The Software Lead must have a comprehensive understanding across all divisions of the IT support organization to perform day to day activities.

 

The role of the Software Lead is to oversee the daily and long-term management of software within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring, auditing and recording software licensure to ensure compliance with supplier agreements/contracts. This role will coordinate with Procurement in managing the appropriate level of software licenses, provide input and adhere to asset management procedures, perform auditing of activities to ensure license compliancy is adhered to and provide recommendations for tool or process improvement.

 

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in IT Asset Management predominantly in the area of Software Asset Management
• Specific experience in End-User licensing such as Windows OS, Microsoft, Citrix, Adobe, Engineering, etc. is a plus
• Must have a background with analytical tools (i.e. Spreadsheets, analytic tools, databases)
• General knowledge of purchasing procedures
• Capable of following detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data
• Familiar with computing environments beneficial (hardware, software, various applications)
• Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
